Official administration of Oil palm plantation of PTPN VII of Pering Baru Ir. H Nur Alfaris taken hostage by 200 hundreds of Pering Baru villager, Talo Kecil, Seluma Province for 7 hour. This kidnappings action do by the citizen because of their demands to require a land area of 518 hectares considered belongs to the indigenous people who occupied by PTPN VII must be returned to citizen 

This hostage drama begins when hundreds of mass within it mothers and childrens move on foot from settlement of Pering Baru village to the site of the factory CPO and Adm. Offices of PTPN VII but when the street around 1 kilometres from the location of settlement of villager saw administration official of PTPN Nur Alfaris passed into his office then the mass did the hostage.

The representative of advocacy of resident, Firmansyah S. Sos said that the efforts of hostage which done by his side and resident purposed that the demand can be heard and fulfill by PTPN VII and government, not to create a discomfort for PTPN VII and local resident because the demand had appears since the beginning of the opening of plantation of Oil Palm on that land which started since year of 1980 ago. We want to deliver so our demand can fulfilled. The customary land is 518 hectares returned to the resident Firmansyah explained.

The act of hostage occur tense but because of approaches which do by the security forces to guard the action occur in peacefully. The release of Nur Alfaris after 7 hour been as hostage and PTPN VII agreed to fulfill the citizen demand to returning the citizen land such revealed by Onzaidi member of parliament of Seluma and Firmansyah as resident assistance.
