Hundreds of Kajang residents held a demonstration at the office of Regent of Bulukumba Thursday (11/3), peasant’s demonstration incorporated in the people's movement for agrarian reform. Requires HGU PT Lonsum re-measured.

In 2006 year ago, Kajang resident sue that HGU PT Lonsum re-measured it because presumed the crude rubber plantation soil unsuited with the HGU (Rights to Use) which stated by the government. After that Pemkab (local government) and DPRD (local parliament) of Bulukumba then follow-up the demand of Kajang resident.

Pemkab and DPRD agree to prepare amount of money IDR 300 million taken from APBD 2009. But untill now the re-measured HGU PT Lonsum never been done. Dispute cases resident and PT Lonsum which mediated by Local government (province level) of South Sulawesi, coordinator of the demonstration Ahmad Kulle urge PT Lonsum in Makasaar to work maximum in re-measured the HGU. People will do reclaiming and Boycott local election (Pilkada) if never had point of completion, Ahmad Kulle expalined.  

Vice Regent of Bulukumba H. Pandasi regards seriously the demands of Kajang resident and in the presence of demonstran team from Pemkab of Bulukumba which led by Sekda (regional secretary) HA. Untung was in Makasar discussing HGU PT Lonsum.

Vice Regent accompanied Assistant II Andi Bau Amal also Section Chief of Law (Kabag) Ali Saleng SH related to cost measurement has been prepared by Pemkab. Number of apparatus from PP task force also Police has been deployed to secure the demonstration.
